My Internship at The Digital Stride: Lessons in Creativity, Teamwork, and Growth

I recently had the privilege of completing a four-week internship/work experience with The Digital Stride, an experience that proved to be both rewarding and inspiring. From my very first day, I felt genuinely welcomed and part of the team.
My initial task involved working on a design formatting project, which quickly taught me that through plenty of trial and error—that Adobe software I thought I knew well has far more depth and potential than I had previously realised. This sparked a deeper interest in typography, particularly in understanding hierarchy and spacing, and how these elements shape the way a document is read and experienced.
During my time at The Digital Stride, I was grateful for how approachable, kind, and supportive everyone was, always willing to answer questions and share their knowledge. I also gained an appreciation for the unique contributions that make the company thrive. It was a reminder that success doesn’t depend on having a large team, but on having the right people working together.
Across both on-site and remote working, I learned an exceptional amount in just a short space of time. These experiences will stay with me as I complete my final year at university and prepare for whichever creative path I pursue.
I would especially like to thank Ian, who acted as a mentor throughout my internship. His incredible knowledge and valuable advice gave me real insight into the creative industry and what it means to succeed in this field.
Thank you to the entire Digital Stride team, I am truly grateful, and I will never forget this experience.

AEO, GEO, LLMO, AIO: the alphabet soup of AI search, explained
On a single sales call you'll hear four acronyms for the same thing. One person says AEO, the consultant says GEO, the board deck says LLMO, and a vendor emails about AIO. Everyone nods. Nobody's sure they mean the same thing. They mostly do.
