SEO Manager
Youʼll manage SEO for a portfolio of our clients, from strategy through to results, working alongside our SEO Account Manager. Youʼll know each clientʼs market, their customers and the searches that turn into enquiries, and youʼll be accountable for the outcome.
Search has changed. People now get answers from ChatGPT, Googleʼs AI Overviews and AI Mode, and Gemini, as well as from the usual results. We want someone who understands how brands get named and cited in those answers, and who can help our clients show up wherever their customers are asking.
Youʼll spot the technical issues holding a site back and brief them clearly to our developers, who make the fixes. Youʼll also contribute to new client proposals and audits.
How we use AI in SEO.
AI is part of everyday SEO here, in two ways. We use AI tools and automated workflows for research, content briefs, analysis and reporting, and we check everything before it goes live. We also treat AI search as a channel in its own right: we track which customer questions our clients appear in, which competitors get named instead, and what it takes to close the gap
What you'll do
- Lead SEO for your clients: Own strategy, delivery and results in organic search for a portfolio of lead generation and e- commerce clients.
- Put the STRIDE Methodology™ into practice: Understand each clientʼs business, customers and competitors before changing anything, then turn that into a search strategy.
- Win visibility in AI search: Track and grow how often clients are named and cited in ChatGPT, AI Overviews, AI Mode and Gemini, and build the content and authority that earns it.
- Find the technical issues: Run technical audits, prioritise whatʼs holding a site back, and brief clear fixes to our developers.
- Plan content that ranks and converts: Research what customers search for and ask, then plan and brief pages that answer it and turn visitors into enquiries.
- Build authority: Earn the links, citations, reviews and mentions that build trust with Google and AI search alike.
- Use AI to work faster and think better: Use AI tools for research, briefs, analysis and reporting, and check everything before it goes live.
- Report clearly: Monthly reports and walk-through videos that link search visibility to leads and revenue, not rankings for their own sake. No jargon.
- Work across the team: Work with PPC, paid social and account management so search plays its part in each clientʼs wider plan, and contribute to proposals and audits.
What you'll bring
- At least three yearsʼ hands-on SEO experience, ideally agency-side.
- A track record of growing organic traffic, leads and revenue for lead generation or e- commerce sites.
- A working knowledge of AI search: how ChatGPT, AI Overviews and Gemini choose their sources, and what helps a brand get named.
- Confident running technical audits (crawling, indexing, site speed, Core Web Vitals, structured data) and explaining fixes clearly to developers. You wonʼt need to make the fixes yourself.
- Experience with Semrush, Google Search Console, GA4 and a crawler such as Screaming Frog.
- Strong on-page and content skills: keyword and question research, page briefs and internal linking.
- Local SEO experience, including Google Business Profile.
- Confident using AI tools such as Claude day to day, and keen to explore new tools that can improve performance.
- Well versed in how SEO works alongside PPC, social and email.
- A structured, methodical approach to testing, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good time management and prioritisation across multiple clients.
- Confidence explaining results to business owners and marketing directors in plain English.
- You must live within commuting distance of Leamington Spa.
