Account Manager
Youʼll look after a portfolio of our clients, from their first week to their fifth year. Youʼll be the person they call: running onboarding, regular meetings and reviews, and making sure they always know what weʼre doing, why, and what itʼs delivering.
You wonʼt run the campaigns yourself. Our PPC, SEO and paid social specialists do the delivery. Your job is to understand each clientʼs business well enough to brief the team, hold the work to a high standard, and spot what the client needs next.
That last part matters. Many of our clients have stayed with us five years or more, and much of our growth comes from doing great work for the clients we already have.
Youʼll help us keep them, and help them do more with us when itʼs the right thing for their business.
How we use AI and automation.
AI is part of how we run accounts here. We use AI tools and automated workflows for meeting notes, client research, onboarding and reporting, and monday.com keeps every task and deadline in view. That takes the admin off your desk, so more of your time goes on clients.
What you'll do
- Be the clientʼs main contact: Own the day-to-day relationship for a portfolio of clients, so each one has a single person who knows their account inside out.
- Run onboarding: Welcome new clients, gather access and assets, set up their monday.com boards and get the specialists started quickly.
- Lead the AI Blueprint: Take clients through our AI Market Research & Strategy Blueprint, from intake and customer research to presenting the strategy.
- Put the STRIDE Methodology™ into practice: Know each clientʼs business, customers and goals well enough to brief the team and challenge the work.
- Coordinate the specialists: Turn client needs into clear briefs for PPC, SEO and paid social, and keep work moving on time.
- Run meetings and reviews: Lead monthly calls and quarterly reviews that link our work to the clientʼs leads and revenue.
- Keep clients for the long term: Spot early signs that a client is unhappy, deal with issues openly, and lead renewals.
- Find room to grow: Notice when a client would benefit from another service or more budget, and make the case when itʼs right for them.
- Support new business: Help with proposals and pitches, and make the handover from sale to delivery smooth.
What you'll bring
- At least three yearsʼ account management or client services experience, ideally in a digital marketing agency.
- A good working knowledge of PPC, SEO and paid social: enough to brief specialists, question results and explain them to clients. You wonʼt run campaigns yourself.
- A track record of keeping clients for the long term and growing the accounts you look after.
- Confident running meetings and presenting to business owners and marketing directors.
- Comfortable reading performance reports and turning them into a clear story about leads and revenue.
- Experience with project management tools; monday.com is a plus.
- Commercial sense: you can spot an opportunity and make the case without the hard sell.
- Excellent written and spoken communication, in plain English.
- Highly organised, able to juggle multiple clients and deadlines.
- Calm and honest when things go wrong, and focused on putting them right.
- Confident using AI tools such as Claude day to day, and keen to explore new tools.
- You must live within commuting distance of Leamington Spa.
